With skill and commitment, the caregivers guide her through every confusing hour of every day and night. Their patience has astounded me, and it seems like they’ve all fallen in love with her, even though some moments are extremely difficult. They see past behavior and connect with the person inside. They see the real her, and I couldn’t ask for more. I appreciate the brand new building and the gorgeous grounds and all the fancy stuff, including the delicious food, but what money can’t buy is true caring. You can’t fake that day after day.
