The Vineyards California Armenian Home Announces New Chief Executive Officer, Francis X. Rodgers
Leadership Announcement Comes on Eve of their One-Year Expansion Anniversary
FRESNO, CALIFORNIA…February 21, 2019…The Board of Directors of The Vineyards California Armenian Home (The Vineyards) is pleased to announce the appointment of Francis X. Rodgers, the first Chief Executive Officer of the highly regarded continuing-care retirement community. Rodgers can be reached directly at (559) 251-8414.
Rodgers brings over 35 years of experience in long-term care, assisted living and continuity care retirement communitiesto The Vineyards. As Chief Executive Officer he will oversee the management of all levels of care at the senior lifestyle community offering continuing-care for seniors over the age of 60.
The Vineyards offers 12 resort-style independent living villas, 60 independent living apartments, 50 assisted living apartments and 36 dedicated memory care apartments with private pay, month-to-month rents. Additionally, there are 30 short and long-term 24-hour skilled nursing residences.

The Vineyards California Armenian Home is celebrating its 67th anniversary during the month of February and the one-year anniversary of its $42 million privately funded expansion which is nearly 80 percent occupied in just its first year.

The not-for-profit corporation, California Armenian Home was established in 1952 by the local Armenian community, who generously donated 40-acres of land in Fresno, California’s southeast countryside, the building, and the funds to furnish a continuing care retirement community.
On January 2, 2018, The Vineyards expansion of California Armenian Home, Fresno County’s largest privately funded $42 million senior lifestyle community, opened for residents. Today, The Vineyards California Armenian Home offers both short and long-term, 24-hour skilled nursing, rehabilitation and assisted living residences, and takes most insurance programs. The expansion includes private pay, month-to-month rents for resort-style independent living villas and apartments, assisted living and memory care apartments, plus a host of hospitality amenities including multiple dining establishments, recreation, fitness and daily needs services.
